🙏 FIRST LAST WORD:

At the time of death, you should tell your loved ones and children not to come to visit but to dedicate all their time to practice - that is the most filial child..!!!!

(Thanks to the heartfelt last words above - the filial children will wholeheartedly practice - the results of the practice of the child - EVEN IF ONLY ONE DAY OF COMPLETE OBSERVANCE OF THE EIGHT PRECEPTS - with a pure heart - will be enough to help Mother and Father at the time of death receive boundless blessings..!!!

At the time of death - to resonate with the Buddha Land, you must at least be TRULY HAPPY to leave behind the SACRED LAST WORDS as above, my children..!!!!

Conversely, at the time of death - if you are sad and wish for your children and grandchildren to come care for you - such a narrow-minded heart - will be reborn in a place of suffering..!!!

* Only wish that the loved ones - who have practiced and achieved results come to help you let go of everything - that is the true cause and effect..!!!)

You should strive to practice living with the moral foundation of RIGHT VIEW and RIGHT EFFORT as taught by the Buddha:

"A moment of time - is worth more than a moment of gold

A moment of gold can be found - nothing is difficult

A moment of time - is hard to ask for."

"Sometimes a chance is missed for an hour

Sometimes you must suffer, you must wait a thousand years."

Therefore, do not practice gradually - while humanity lies on the sickbed and MOTHER and FATHER are close to death, and you practice gradually, enjoying slowly, what cause and effect can accept that - what cause and effect can help you escape from the painful sickbed..?

Awakening early - DILIGENT PRACTICE EARLY - happiness early - save yourself, save MOTHER and FATHER early,..

Awakening late by one day - harms yourself, harms MOTHER and FATHER lying on the sickbed for one more day - countless sins - will leave a wound in the heart for a thousand years..!!!

The law of cause and effect does not accept gradual practice - unless guided by a Master who has attained enlightenment through conditions - because the karmic conditions of cause and effect are deeply rooted..!!

I truly regret deeply - every day, I ask to kneel - bow my head - five points - to the ground - with a sincere heart of love and respect - for all HUMANITY - all BEINGS that I have caused tragic suffering - I must sincerely love and respect them even more than my ANCESTORS, MOTHER, and FATHER to hope to redeem a part of the sins I have sown..  

Every day, I ask to kneel - bow my head - five points - to the ground - directing my heart - with a sincere heart of love and respect forever, for eternity - until I am forgiven by all TEACHERS - all HUMANITY - all BEINGS that I have harmed - then I will find peace in my heart..

✍Why must we SINCERELY REPENT - always feel GUILTY - INDEBTED - COMPASSIONATE - RESPECTFUL - WISHFUL?  

Because everyone makes mistakes in life.  

Even if you feel you have done no wrong currently - but are still insulted, envied, or caught in rumors,... you should immediately reflect on past wrongs towards others, thus you MUST SINCERELY REPENT...!!!  

Even if you have not wronged anyone, you still owe it to yourself: such as harboring anger, desires, expectations, attachments, seeking fame, being greedy, wasting time on practice,... and NOT WHOLEHEARTEDLY SEEKING THE PATH...!!!  

Ultimately, you will face the consequences on a painful sickbed...!!!  

THEREFORE, EVERYONE HAS FAULTS, AND NOT SINCERELY REPENTING - WHILE STILL HOPING FOR HAPPINESS - HOPING TO ALIGN WITH THE BUDDHA'S LAND - IS UTTERLY ILLOGICAL - A MISUNDERSTANDING OF CAUSE AND EFFECT - NEVER HAS BEEN, NEVER WILL BE, MY DEAR...!!!  

In the past, you have already erred, and if you continue to harbor anger without joyfully repenting, suffering will only compound...!!!  

Thus, you must SINCERELY REPENT FOR YOURSELF, then REPENT FOR THOSE "KARMIC ENEMIES" AND ALL OF HUMANITY, GREAT BEINGS...  

✍Why must we SINCERELY FEEL COMPASSION?  

Because currently, many are suffering immensely, and the future will bring even more suffering on a sorrowful sickbed - at the latest in the final years of life... so you must SINCERELY FEEL COMPASSION...  

✍Why must we SINCERELY RESPECT?  

"The nature of humanity is originally good."  

In everyone's heart - no one wishes to be a bad person - everyone wants to be good - everyone wants to treat others well - everyone wants to RESPECT others to share happiness - to return to the Buddha's Land,...!!!  

However, due to the forces of ignorance and the karmic cycle of debts and repayments, people are compelled to act in such ways.  

Although they are influenced and controlled by karma - compelled to demand debts from you - to harm you - their hearts still hold compassion - still love you, so they cannot bear to insult you more harshly...!!!

* Mr. Phú Lâu Na - has attained saintly virtue, so when he asked the Buddha to teach, even if the followers insulted him, beat him, or killed him, he still felt compassion and respect... This is because he has seen the HUMAN MIND - the INHERENT GOODNESS - which all love and respect him, but due to ignorance and the karmic forces of cause and effect - borrowing and repaying - people behave this way...!!! 

* The scriptures clearly state: Mr. Phú Lâu Na and his brother Cấp Cô Độc possess this characteristic - this is saintly virtue - a mind of boundless compassion, so the two only cultivated compassion, ultimately achieving the Holy Path... 

✍ Why must we sincerely express gratitude - be indebted to others? 

Because they have helped me settle my karmic debts so that I can be happy. 

Because they have helped my soul become increasingly virtuous. 

Because they have helped me grow in compassion, loving-kindness, joy, and equanimity, and eliminate arrogance and greed... 

Because they have helped me return quickly to the Holy Land. 

* BECAUSE IF THERE WERE NO ONE AND NO ONE CAME TO COLLECT THE DEBT, I COULD NOT REPAY ALL MY DEBTS,... AND IF THERE WERE NO ADVERSITY, I COULD NOT CULTIVATE A HOLY SOUL - I COULD NOT RETURN TO THE SHORE OF PEACE - SO I MUST SINCERELY EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO OTHERS - BE INDEBTED TO OTHERS,... THIS IS ALSO THE MORALITY OF BEING HUMAN - OF BEING A SAINT...!!! 

✍ Why must we sincerely wish - especially wish for those who are adversarial to awaken to the Buddha's teachings - to escape all suffering? 

Because this is evidence of boundless compassion - which every sentient being who wishes for happiness - who wishes to return to the Pure Land must sincerely aspire to...!!!

🙇FOURTH TESTAMENT - Advising loved ones to diligently practice the FOUR SINCERE HEARTS publicly - at least in the group page, as the results will be more fulfilling - BECAUSE YOU ALL PRACTICE THE FOUR SINCERE HEARTS - SILENTLY AND QUIETLY OR ONLY PRACTICING ALONE WILL NOT BE VERY MEANINGFUL - CANNOT HARMONIZE WITH THE GOOD ENVIRONMENT - CANNOT SOW CONNECTIONS FOR HUMANITY - THAT IS NOT HAVING A HEART OF INFINITE COMPASSION - STILL FEELING HESITANT, STILL HAVING SUBTLE EGO - HOW CAN ONE RESONATE WITH THE SACRED LAND OF BUDDHA..!!!?

The way human beings think will determine the nature of their karma.

So many beings are on the brink of death - they have decided to let go of everything, in need of rescue, yet you do not help them immediately - instead, you are preoccupied with unimportant matters - worrying about those who do not wish to practice - which will be of no benefit - only sowing the seeds of attachment, favoritism, and wasting time..

If you love with favoritism - loving contrary to the law of cause and effect - it will harm yourself, harm your loved ones, and harm all beings..!!!"

🙏NINTH BEQUEST:

My children, strive for enlightenment:

A mind in suffering will be reborn in suffering.

A mind in happiness will be reborn in happiness.

You must let go of all arrogance and greed to have a mind like the Buddha - unmoving - calm - and joyful..!!!

Children, remember:

+ Death is not the end - there will be a new life - happy right away - more fulfilling - if you maintain a calm and joyful mind..

+ Conversely, there will be a life - filled with more suffering - if the mind is still angry and unable to practice the HOLY VIRTUES mentioned above.

🙏ELEVENTH BLESSING:

Therefore, Mother "LEAVES" happily - do not be sad..!!!!

12/ Being sad only causes Mother more suffering and prevents her from reaching a place of happiness..!!!!

13/ The quicker the burial - the quicker Mother can return to the SAFE HAVEN..!!!!

14/ There is no need to check the date or time..!!!!

(Because that is superstition. Mother has let go of everything, has lived righteously, so she will receive good results.

"Let go immediately - all suffering will cease.")

15/ There is no need to inform the children and grandchildren - it will only cause them more distress..!!!

16/ The slower the burial - the more you see loved ones crying, the more Mother’s heart aches and cannot return to a peaceful place..!!!!

17/ Bury right under the plum tree - at little Hoa's house, where Mother is lying..!!!! - or bury anywhere else - as long as it is convenient for the children and grandchildren..!!!!

(And just a torn mat or an old blanket is enough - THE MORE IT FOLLOWS THE TEACHINGS OF THE BUDDHA - THE MORE IT RESONATES WITH THE PLACE OF THE BUDDHA.)

If possible, children should plant a few trees at Mother’s resting place to protect the planet and provide shade for life, which would be even more meaningful and blessed..!!!!

(When all beings pass away, if this can be accomplished, then the Earth will forever be a green planet - how fresh the air will be..)

18/ There is no need to light incense (just light the incense of the heart), because the smoke from incense nowadays is often very toxic and harms oneself, others, and the environment..

According to the Buddha's teachings - the LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT - even minor mistakes, like grains of sand, will not be forgiven. Just like, "If there is even a little arrogance, greed, anger, or a bit of attachment to fame and profit like dirt under the fingernail, one will still be reborn in the cycle of suffering."

19/ NO FUNERAL, NO DRUMS... and no coffins at all. This only creates noise, disturbs the neighbors, and wastes money. Saving donations to print scriptures or build a retreat for practitioners will be more meaningful and bring greater blessings, my child!  

20/ Only offer vegetarian food to Buddhists, avoiding harmful substances like alcohol and beer.  

21/ Do not accept food that involves the suffering of sentient beings, as it will add to the MOTHER's sins!  

22/ DO NOT ACCEPT DONATIONS FROM BUDDHISTS, BUT IF A BUDDHIST GENUINELY OFFERS WITH THE INTENTION OF PRINTING SCRIPTURES OR BUILDING A RETREAT FOR TRUE PRACTITIONERS, THEN YOU MAY ACCEPT AND BE GRATEFUL!  

23/ Do not leave a will for your descendants to inherit donations or offerings - it will harm them, leading them deeper into attachment and desire. The Buddha always advised: "The more one possesses fame and wealth, the more one possesses venomous snakes; it is the cause of evil and the seed of painful rebirth." Therefore, giving your descendants fame and wealth is giving them venomous snakes. (Except in special circumstances - guided by an enlightened teacher...) Because at this very moment, there are countless children in the world scavenging for food in garbage dumps and many elderly people dying of hunger...!!! 😢 Thus, a pure and clear conscience should NOT allow itself to indulge in excess - in the face of the suffering and grief of humanity...!!! True happiness - eternal, is not found in fame, wealth, beauty, food, or sleep, but in a compassionate heart - that is living with the Noble Ethical Foundation - dedicating all love to the world - the more you let go - the more you give - the more you receive complete happiness...!!!  

24/ Therefore, offering donations and offerings to the FOUR TREASURES is an immeasurable blessing...

25/ Prepare the scriptures to gift to fortunate Buddhists (The content of the scriptures must clearly state the practices to eliminate arrogance, greed, anger... and most importantly, the practices to cultivate BOUNDLESS COMPASSION - If the scriptures do not clearly state the practices, they are false scriptures and will incur even more wrongdoing, harming many generations..)

26/ There is no need for descendants to go through the trouble of performing rituals: seven days, forty-nine days, one hundred days, or any memorial services.. This only burdens the descendants, wastes time, adds to the karma of killing, harms living beings, and disturbs the neighbors' peace..

27/ To repay the kindness to parents, instead of performing rituals on those days, dedicate that time to practice - if you live a complete day of observing the EIGHT PRECEPTS, you are saving yourselves and helping your mother receive blessings from you - which will help her find peace and happiness..!!! If you observe the EIGHT PRECEPTS - even for just a few days but live exactly like the HOLY PRACTICE of the Buddha - with the Alms Collection Group going for alms - sowing good seeds of the true Dharma everywhere, then that is boundless merit for you, for your parents, and for all sentient beings..!!!!! The Buddha said: "When living a complete day with the Mind of the Buddha, one will enjoy blessings for hundreds of thousands of years.."

28/ If you love yourselves - love your parents, then strive to PRACTICE TO REPAY THEIR KINDNESS for a few days..

29/ Always see that all sentient beings respond according to the law of cause and effect - borrowing and repaying - and see that all sentient beings - could be grandparents, parents from the past reincarnated - are all suffering - will face the consequences in their sickbeds - at the latest during the last years of life - so there should only remain a sincere heart of compassion, love, and respect - determined to diligently practice - save yourselves, save humanity..!!!

30/ Always present at least two wishes for siblings to choose from in happiness - not to choose from suffering - thus you have eliminated the MIND OF DESIRE - not causing suffering to oneself - to others - to the greater existence..!!!  

🌻 The most important thing is not to comply with evil laws and not to heartlessly ask others to do anything they are not happy with..!!!  

(Except for actions that harm others - that are contrary to THE SACRED MORAL PRINCIPLES..)  

31/ Always sincerely wish for siblings and humanity to be better, happier - that is the heart of the Saint that will transform all karmic conditions - the law of cause and effect will return all love..!!!  

32/ Do not view life through right and wrong, good and bad  

Look at life through cause and effect - borrowing and repaying - you will see that all beings are truly pitiable - always led by karma - always suffering..!!!  

33/ Do not look at external appearances but look into the hearts of beings to see that they are truly kind..!!!  

34/ Frequently "SPEAK WELL BEHIND PEOPLE" - especially with adverse karmic conditions - will transform all karmic conditions - will increase the INFINITE COMPASSION - saving oneself - saving PARENTS - saving humanity..!!!  

35/ Always prepare your mindset and wish that those with adverse conditions treat you as poorly as possible - the heavier the evil laws, the quicker you can settle karmic debts - to swiftly return to a peaceful place..!!!  

36/ Always firmly believe that today you are a common person - tomorrow you will be a saint - because common people and saints are only separated by a single thought..!  

37/ Always create a sense of comfort for siblings to feel at ease and happy to point out faults and to express sincere gratitude when being corrected..!!!

38/ Always see adversity and difficulties as invaluable gifts that fate and life have bestowed upon you..!!!  

For there is no happiness that comes without walking on rose petals..!!!  

If there were no adversity - how would you know how noble your heart is?  

If there were no adversity - how would you settle your debts to return to a peaceful, happy place?  

If there were no adversity, you would forever be unable to settle your karmic ties and would have to return to a sorrowful deathbed - to the cold, desolate ground - to be reborn as SENTIENT BEINGS to repay your karma..!!!  

39/ Treat tomorrow as if it were the last day of your life...  

Live each day fully as a Buddha's heart to repay your parents' kindness, to achieve great things, to offer the world all the love that will bring blessings for hundreds of thousands of years, as the Buddha has advised...  

"Even if you live a hundred years  

Without seeing the Law of Birth and Death  

It is not as good as living one day  

Seeing the Law of Death and Birth.  

Even if you live a hundred years  

Without seeing the Law of Cause and Effect  

It is not as good as living one day  

Seeing the path of Cause and Effect.  

Even if you live a hundred years  

Without seeing the Law of Impermanence  

It is not as good as living one day  

Seeing the Law of Emptiness.  

The Law that the Tathagata realizes  

Is truly profound and mysterious  

Very hard to understand, hard to see  

Because it goes against the flow of life.  

Only the Wise - WITH CONDITIONS  

Awaken to the true Wonderful Law:  

"By giving up small pleasures  

You will gain greater joy  

By giving up greater joys  

You will attain complete happiness."  

Why must we give up?  

Why must we grow weary  

Of worldly pleasures?  

Because that is the Ethics  

Humanity and Nobility  

In this fleeting life  

There are countless beings  

Suffering in agony  

Having to scavenge for food  

Leftover in the garbage..!!!😢

And how many lives  

Must sacrifice their own  

Due to extreme hunger and suffering  

How can the heart find peace???  

Indulging in harsh pleasures  

Before the great suffering of life?  

Whether at the pinnacle of glory  

Or in a life of poverty  

We all return to rest together  

Cold in the desolate grave  

Shattered remnants of bones.  

Why must we be weary  

Of worldly pleasures?  

Because that is morality  

It is kindness and holiness  

It is the path to transform karma  

To escape from the sickbed  

From the cold earth of the grave..!!!  

Because that is the way  

To repay our parents  

Let us think of MOTHER and FATHER  

Who carried us for nine months  

Struggling throughout their lives  

To nurture and raise us.  

As death approaches  

We must bear the consequences  

Severe on the sickbed  

Let us think of this  

And let go of everything  

To save MOTHER and FATHER..!!!  

Let us think of this  

At least once in a lifetime  

We should choose a day  

To live fully like the Buddha  

To repay our parents..!!!  

The Buddha's teachings endure:  

"Just live one day  

Fully like the Buddha's heart  

Is enough to enjoy blessings  

For hundreds of thousands of years."  

Let us live one complete day  

Holy like the BUDDHA'S HEART  

Without arrogance, greed, or anger,  

ALWAYS WHOLEHEARTEDLY SEEKING THE PATH  

AND FAITHFULLY PRACTICING  

This is true virtue  

It is kindness and holy conduct  

Humility and Selflessness  

To save MOTHER and FATHER  

To the place of peaceful shores  

To repay the gratitude to the ONE WHO GAVE LIFE...!!!  

Pity the fleeting life  

The world is so harsh  

The Buddha's words resonate forever  

But go against the current of life..  

For advising people to abandon  

Worldly pleasures  

For advising people to let go  

Of arrogance, greed, and anger..  

For advising people sincerely  

ALWAYS WHOLEHEARTEDLY SOWING SEEDS  

FOREVER FOLLOWING THE BUDDHA'S FOOTSTEPS  

LIVING A LIFETIME AS A BEGGAR  

WITH ONLY ONE BOWL - THREE ROBES  

ESCAPING ALL SORROWS..  

And advising people wholeheartedly  

To always be happy and joyful  

Eagerly wishing to show the way  

And with deep gratitude  

When guided by others..!!!  

Then how can humanity  

Faithfully practice?  

"Therefore, among humans  

Few find  

The harbor of peace  

Most of the remaining people  

Wander around the shores of poverty."

Practice living with the Foundation of Morality:

GIVING HAPPINESS WITHOUT ATTACHMENT - IS RECEIVING THE SPRING OF EVERLASTING HAPPINESS

Life is IMPERMANENT - what can you hold onto?

Give - when meeting and parting..!

Life is SELFLESS - what is truly ours?

Give - do not let life fade away - do not let life pass by without meaning..!

Life is SUFFERING - what is there to hold onto?

Give - to make life more beautiful..!

Life is CAUSE AND EFFECT - why worry and ponder?

Give - do not calculate right and wrong..!

Tomorrow you may die - returning to dust

Wanting to give to life - but missing the old boat..!

LET US GIVE - SO THAT LIFE MAY ALWAYS BE AN EVERLASTING SPRING..!!!

Practice living with the Foundation of Morality:

Do not choose the peaceful path of cultivation but choose the path of holiness - Devote all your time to doing the most meaningful things in life..!!!

There are two most sacred charitable acts in life - that is to dedicate all your time to saving yourself and saving humanity, not letting each day pass by without meaning, but letting each day be filled with all your love, because:

Just a brief moment more - surely you will all grow old, wrinkled, and withered..

Just a brief moment more - surely you will all lie on the sickbed in endless pain..

Just a brief moment more - surely you will only have shallow breaths left and return to the cold earth of forgotten graves - losing everything - no one will remember you - there will be sorrow for a life of mist - there will be regret for a thousand years for living meaningless, selfish days..!!!

Life is like a play  

Life is like a breath  

Life is like a dream  

Therefore,  

Do not view life as a lavish royal carriage  

One day, impermanence will come to beckon  

What remains in the cold, desolate grave?  

Look at life like water bubbles, like dew that evaporates  

The awakened mind seeks the sacred land  

A place of peace and eternal happiness...!!!  

Thus, each passing day, you strive to dedicate all your time to do great things to save yourself - to save your loved ones... - Bringing happiness and renunciation to the world...  

You are immensely blessed to live in a noble environment, so you have let go of everything - joyfully choosing the highest way of living - that is the most virtuous and holy life - FOLLOWING IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE BUDDHA - A LIFETIME AS A BEGGAR, traveling everywhere to help humanity - with such a noble and holy nature, your enlightenment is not surprising at all...!!!  

Among more than seven billion beings in the world, who dares to let go as purely as you do...  

And is there anyone who wholeheartedly sows the seeds of compassion, guiding Buddhists to live a life of THREE ROBES AND ONE BOWL - and especially living with a joyful heart, striving to be the humblest, most self-sacrificing, most accommodating, and most loving...  

These are the two most virtuous charitable acts in a person's life that no one has accomplished, but you have - This is also the only path to save yourself and save all beings...  

"To be happy - first, bring happiness to others.  

To attain complete happiness - to return to the Sacred Land of the Buddha, ultimately, all beings must let go of everything and cultivate an EVERLASTING HEART OF LOVE AND RESPECT...  

The law of cause and effect - remains unchanged through the ages.  

Gift life early - happiness comes early.  

Gift life late - who knows when impermanence will come to take everything away...  

All is selfless - nothing belongs to you...  

All is impermanent - nothing lasts forever - all will dissolve and perish...  

But there is only one thing that is truly yours - that is everlasting - it is the heart of compassion - THE EVERLASTING HEART OF LOVE AND RESPECT - it is the state of happiness free from desire - untainted - that is the pure, wholesome karma - it will not correspond to life - IT IS THE STATE OF NIRVANA - UNBORN, UNDYING -UNMOVED, TRANQUIL, AT PEACE, FREE FROM TROUBLE..!!!  

🙏LEGACY 42:  

ALWAYS LIVE IN A NOBLE ENVIRONMENT and always have absolute faith in the teachings of the Buddha - the LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT:  

"Whichever environment you live in, you will repay your karmic debts.  

Living in a lowly environment - you will repay lowly karmic debts - you will become a lowly person...  

But you, blessed with boundless fortune, live in a noble environment - you will repay noble karmic debts - you will attain the Noble...!!!  

Therefore, living in a noble environment, if a hundred people practice, a hundred people will attain realization!"  

🙏LEGACY 43:  

If you cannot live by these ethical standards - NOT LIVING A SINGLE DAY AS A BUDDHA'S HEART to repay your parents' kindness, not living in a noble environment, not wholeheartedly seeking the path, MOST IMPORTANTLY, not relying on and practicing the teachings,... then how can you have enough good causes for the law of cause and effect to help you overcome all karmic conditions..!!!  

🌻 🙏LEGACY 44:  

Finally, when Mother passes on, may the descendants dedicate all their time to WHOLEHEARTEDLY SEEKING THE PATH - RELYING ON AND PRACTICING the teachings and helping humanity who are suffering day by day, without needing to worry about funeral arrangements..!!!

Thus, Mother and your loved ones are blessed even more - they will reunite in a place of selfless love - a place of giving everything - happiness forevermore - free from the pains, petty sorrows, and false jealousy of this impermanent life..!!!

Though life is impermanent

Living with love

With a heart solely for giving

Without calculation or thought

Not expecting to receive

Brings countless happiness

Eternal with time

Resounding through the years..!!!

That is cause - that is effect

It cannot fade away..!!!

I wish to create a small spring

Silently offering to life

And become a pair of swallows

Bringing love to others..!!!

Alone in the human world

In this fleeting existence

Yet my heart is filled with tranquility..!!!

Or in a life of poverty

We will all rest together

Cold in the desolate grave

Fragments of shattered bones..!!!

Leaving behind fame and gain

My feet will wander

Through countless strange lands..

Even from strangers

Though unfamiliar, they are gentle

Simple yet sincere

Warm the heart of the wandering monk..!!!

Happiness is fleeting

Those with affinity will awaken
